Peter is currently the Chairman of THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA (FDA). Peter is regarded as an expert on issues effecting business in Africa; sustainable development; CSI (Corporate Social Investment); Corporate Governance; FDI (Foreign Direct Investment); LED (Local Economic Development); PPP’s (Private Public Partnerships); NEPAD (New Partnerships for Africa's Development) and now LEADERSHIP, his favorite topic. Peter is currently facilitating a host of motivational seminars on LEADERSHIP: "Leadership ... The key to Service Delivery" which is essential for an investment climate which is imperative for Local Economic Development. "Leadership ... The key to Project Management" which is essential for implementing projects, no matter how insignificant. He was an active participant to the Advisory Board for the OECD-NEPAD - Africa Investment Initiative for Growth and Development, where he endeavored to contribute on behalf of the People of Africa. As such, his contributions are now sought after in many people-driven summits and events.
As Project Quality Assurance Engineer, during the construction of a number of coal-driven power stations in South Africa, Peter was exposed to most trades and professions while developing quality procedures used in the construction process.
The vision he had of "connecting" Africa, led to the 'birth' of Info Africa in 1992.
After establishing this concept, Peter was once again exposed to empowering and capacitating of our people, as a consultant for the then Northern Province Department of Housing (South Africa), preparing quality procedures for low-cost housing. His passion to address sustainable development needs in Africa became an obsession.
Peter, in his then capacity as a business consultant, assisted emerging PDI's (Previously Disadvantaged Individuals) with realisation of their vision and the establishment of these PDI's in business. He holds the title as an accredited assessor for the South African Business Excellence Foundation. This knowledge he now willingly shares with others.
In 2003 Peter received an award from the Minister of Social Development in South Africa, Dr. Zola SKWEYIYA, for his contribution towards Corporate Social Investment.
Peter’s expertise has made him a well-known personality in Africa. His numerous televisions, radio and print media interviews and the number of high level conferences and events he has addressed, testifies to the respect he commands in the field of Africa affairs.

He is a Igbo Nigerian scientist, innovator and one of the inventors of the E-Design concept. He was born in Enugu State, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics at St John's University, and then proceeded to the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University for post-graduate studies.
He joined the faculty at University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1983. After a few years, he became the director and a founder of the Automation and Robotics Laboratory at the University. He was made a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering in 1992. As a researcher, he focused on three major topics: Computer Aided Design, Robotics and Computer Aided Engineering. Using the knowledge he gained from his research pursuits, he created the term geometric reasoning, the idea that most things we operate has a geometric configuration. He is also credited as one of the innovators of the E-design concept.
He is also the founder of the first indigenous owned power generating company in Nigeria and was also a former minister for Science and Technology in the country.

Engr Oniwon is from Kogi State and is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained his first degree. He has several diplomas obtained from various institutions in the United States, United Kingdom and France. He has worked in several capacities within the NNPC group including Managing Director at the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) and Eleme Petrochemicals Company Limited. He has recently been conferred with a fellowship of the Chemical Society of Nigeria and is currently the Group Executive Director, Refining and Petrochemicals, of the NNPC.
Minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison-Madueke came to limelight when she was appointed Minister of Transport in 2007.
